oh dear. Mrs Kate won't like being described as a cleaner. Even if she did wash the curtains.wjk wrote:With acknowledgement to Reggie Dunlop on TMCF.

Interesting that earlier they were foreign and now they are British. And we all know a group that were good at their cleaning.

I'm an office/operations manager.....whenever something goes missing (albeit temporarily), the cleaners are always suspected. They're the default suspects.....it's never yet turned out to be them though. Easy scapegoats.

Who did indeed....
Maddie 'apparently' asking her parents 'why did you not come for me when I was crying' is clearly a lie and misdirection, I feel to cover something up.
what is this all about?
This can only insinuate bad parenting and will lead people to question the Mccann's.

Didn't Kate McCann tell the social worker (can't recall her name!) that a couple took Maddie?
Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
Hmmmm....but is this information within the files?
Or is it in the files that have been held back.

There will be a purpose for it! If it is a lie, then it is to catch someone out... or make some slip up!
There will be definitely be intention behind it.

That I feel is the point! it is ridiculous... however this must provoke a response from someone...

And Madeleine would off told her parents anyway that two people had come into the apt.

Indeed! where has this information come from?
We know Desmond's perspective on the Mccann's... someone must be feeding them something for some particular purpose.
It is clearly not Clarence otherwise the McCann's would have used this gambit before, as opposed to random sightings all over the world.
Its also not in the files... so who has given them this information and why!! ?
I believed Blacksmith in the articles when he said that he was being used as a gopher to take information from amaral back and forth to the papers.
I feel there is a new gopher somewhere. Brunt is the only person I can think of who could fulfill that position at the moment. Why is he in portugal?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Brunt
Brunt has a reputation for gaining insider information: Hugo Rifkind reported in The Times diary of 22 December 2006:
"High praise for the Sky News crime correspondent Martin Brunt. When a hack from (another) newspaper phoned Suffolk police press office with a query on the serial killer case, he was told: 'Call Martin Brunt. He knows everything before we do.' A little concerning."
Brunt was first to report the arrest of Amy Winehouse, the resignation of Sir Ian Blair as Metropolitan Police commissioner, and was the first to interview Robert Murat, then suspected of involvement in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. His contacts also led to Sky News being first to report that the July 7 events in London were the work of terrorists and allowed Sky News to break the news of the death of the Queen Mother. In 2010, Brunt reported live from Rothbury during the police hunt for gunman Raoul Moat.[1]
or perhaps he has simply moved along somewhere that he is more welcome...
SKY NEWS' MARTIN BRUNT ORDERED AWAY FROM SCOTLAND YARD BY COP
ABOVE: Sky TV Crime reporter Martin Brunt was a little surprised at being asked to move along
26th April 2013
By Daily Star Reporter
TELLY crime reporter Martin Brunt was stunned yesterday when a policewoman told him to move away from Scotland Yard.
Sky News veteran Brunt, 58, who regularly films outside the Met Police’s London HQ, said: “I was lurking around the front, as I often do, when I was told to move along. It’s the first time it has happened and it left me a little stunned.”

Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
I was wondering why he was in Portugal. Surely the only answer is something is expected from Portugal. There has been a couple of shots of the apartment and a few holiday makers interviewed but that's about it. I can't see much coming out of this I'm afraid.

So Madeleine cried and two people entered the apt to comfort her....and Madeleine didn't say...'where were you when Sean and me cried last night cos a lady and a man came in instead'
And what off Sean......he was supposed to off been crying too....
Get out off it.....this is ridiculous.

Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
so a child is left crying alone, in the dark, and strangers go in to comfort her. What does that say about the feckless parents! Yet again the press have done the McCanns no favours.kitti wrote:So Madeleine cried and two people entered the apt to comfort her....and Madeleine didn't say...'where were you when Sean and me cried last night cos a lady and a man came in instead'

Re: EXCLUSIVE: British police identify 'Maddy suspects' and urge Portuguese to act
My theory is that the purpose of the news story in the express is to encourage a re-evaluation of the time line proposed by the Mccanns et al.
If there is any chance that a 'couple' were anywhere near the flat, 'soothing maddie', then logic would suggest that this is the same 'they' that Kate thought may have taken her. This 'lead' fits the Mccann's narrative very nicely. They would surely want to help police with their enquiries with this wouldn't they. This is the stepping stone to get the Mccann's back into the interview room.
Think about the telephone call to the Mccann's telling them about this
"Hello, Mr and Mrs Mccann? This is Scotland Yard, we believe that a mystery couple were seen entering the apartment"
What would the Mccann's responses here be?
"OH MY GOD THATS TERRIBLE?", "We KNEW it", "I Knew it was a THEY', "I thought a couple may have taken her", "We are greatly encouraged by your work",
At this point, Scotland Yard would surely be wishing to make a request of them to discuss it further.
They would need everyone to really stretch their memories as to events around that night, they would need to examine the time lines.
What about the rest of the TAPAS? What was happening on the 2nd for them also?
What a perfect opportunity to sort out the timelines...
This narrative puts the Mccann's in a position where they can't say no.
This makes me really positive because, we all know their version of events is confused.
I would 'encourage' everyone here to tell the Mccann's via their official pages how 'encouraging' this is.
This sighting can not go any further without the other key 'witnesses' who were there at the time being spoken to.
I look forward to the police getting to examine this further.
