And mine, even if the kidnap fairystory was there, it has nothing whats ever to do with Amaral book. 3 A was long gone when he wrote it. And it took even longer to have it in any other language than Portuguese.interested wrote:My recollection is that the 3A forum closed prior to the date Mr. Amaral's book was published. How could his book affected attitudes on any forum before it was published.
It has nothing to do with the libel case about the book. They have to prove Amarals book is full of lies, not make up irrelevant fairy stories for the gutter press to publish. Just disgusting bunch of paid employees and a friend, Wright is a very good friend of kates, in court, who doesn't seam to understand that all they have said, has nothing to do with Amarals book. Or are mccanns getting paid from UK press for this shite?
And a the comments about 'anti forum' it was owned by Bren, the Huge mccann supporter.

So Amalie goggles her name and found Amaral.
Wright couldn't very well say Sean so he said Amalie as the first letter is the same as Amaral BUT either his lying or Amalie went looking for Amaral because no way would it come up accidentally.
She wouldn't even know who Amaral Is and even if she did, she wouldn't go looking for it at 8 year old that's for sure.
Oh yes, perhaps she come upon it and was caught...the mccanns are very scared off what is happening NOW...the twins may be getting curious but no way do I believe she came across it and read it because she knew who he was.

There must be some kind of brain-washing going on to ensure that even non McCann / Healy blood relatives follow the official line, no matter how bonkers it is!
I've just googled the name Amelie and needless to say I couldn't find any reference to Amaral.
The McCanns must surely have sleepless nights worrying over what inevitably the twins will find out about their loathsome parents. I wonder if they sometimes regret that they didn't tell the truth right from the start.
If it was an accident, could the repercussions really have been that dreadful?

Re: Daily Mail/'Anti-McCann' websites plotted to kidnap one of Madeleine's siblings 'to find out what they knew about her disappearance', court hears
I'm amazed at this kidnapping story. How old is it supposed to be? I never heard of it on 3As, on the Mirror Forum or on any other forum. Is it for real, I wonder, or is it some kind of spin to discredit anyone online who does not happen to accept as gospel the Mccann version of what happened to Madeleine? People who hold differring views to 'official' ones sure as hell are allowed to do so.
I heard about 'the conspiracy' from the paper reviewers early this morning on Sky News. Obviously, if it exists, it is appalling, and any normal person would agree, but I have serious doubts. True there are nutters 'out there' but such a rum idea does take the biscuit!
Why it did cross my mind that it could be 'black' propaganda of a pink kind, was that it oddly conflated a lot of wholly separate ideas, perhaps hoping to tar them all with the 'cruel would-be kidnappers' brush.
The first was the idea that this had been planned by 'internet trolls'. Now such people can be a pain in the bum - that is why we have moderators, but the aim of a troll surely is to sow aggro between ordinary posters, to disrupt the argument of a thread, or to ridicule other people's views etc., NOT to be involved in some criminal kidnap conspiracy. Is 'internet troll' being used as a shorthand for people in online forums who do not accept the McCann version of 'the abduction'?
The second was the idea was that these same 'trolls' who had the crazy idea of kidnapping one or both of the McCann twins 'to see if they knew what really happened to MBM' (bonkers from every viewpoint) were in some way connected with those who had read, or wanted to read Amaral's book! The civil case between the McCanns and Amaral was briefly mentioned in a reasonable mannner on Sky News and skated over.
Curioser and curioser.

very strange indeed. wonder why this wasn't brought up by the Levenson Enquiry. is this all part of the McCs plot to get all the forums shut down. I agree if it is true, then it is appalling. im so surprised legal action wasn't taken at the time or that the McCs did get hold of the host to get the site closed, or did they?

Maddie's mother spent her days in panic and distress. Threats were made on the internet

Kate McCann came close to committing suicide. The psychologist Alan Pike, which helps McCann family since 2007, said yesterday in court that she had "black thoughts". The McCanns demand a compensation of 1.2 million euros to Gonçalo Amaral for damages caused by the publication of the book 'True Lies', in which the former PJ inspector claims that Madeleine died.
Kate told the psychologist that was so devastated by the book of Gonçalo Amaral who "could not stand the days with panic and anguish he felt."
"Kate thought about not getting more out here. Kill She said that if it was an option to end the trauma. Figured it was an indicator of how she felt, rather than something she intended to do. Kate was not well and shared many black thoughts, "said Alan Pike, remembering that Kate spent days crying injustice to Madeleine made by the people who should be helping.
Yesterday, even deposed his cousin Kate, Michael Bright, who by 2010 was the monitoring of web pages and emails relating to the disappearance of Madeleine. He said that in some forums there were several publications inciting the kidnapping of the twins, Sean and Amelie, now eight years old, younger siblings Maddie. Michael was told Gerry and report threats to police in Leicester, UK. But do not know if anything was done. He also described the suffering of the couple when he learned of the documentary broadcast on TVI. "It was horrible," he said.
Madeleine McCann disappeared on May 3, 2007, a tourist resort in Praia da Luz in the Algarve, where he vacationed with her family.

Oh, so now it's "several" and some of them are "still there". Shouldn't be too much effort to provide the Judge with a link, then.

There's a freudian 'slip' if ever there was one!

Surely if a complaint was made the police would have informed them of any action taken.Yesterday, even deposed his cousin Kate, Michael Bright, who by 2010 was the monitoring of web pages and emails relating to the disappearance of Madeleine. I know someone who really was, together with his brother, threatened with kidnapping when he was at school. This friend's father was an international arms dealer and the threat was taken so seriously by the police that the two boys were taken to school and picked up every day by plain clothes officers. How seriously did the police take this "threat" against the twins? Provide surveillance? Any kind of security? Monitor the McCanns' phones?

If someone wants to give me a date or thread name I will check (though difficult, it is possible)

I bet no one can find it though, as I'm 100% positive it never existed.
