What's happening on Friday

Does anyone know what is happening on Friday. Is it the Mcanns witnesses again or is in Mr Amaral this time. I expect if it's Mr Amaral we won't get to know anything about it from the press here.

I think they made a big mistake saaying Kate was suicidal , I just mentioned on another thread that Amaral could use all the videos of Kate laughing, attending T.V. interview to promote her book.etc.

Trish and Ma Healy went to Portugal the same day, but didn't, as far as i know, get into the witness box.
Second week.
ID had asked if witnesses could give written evidence, after first week.
But i don't think the judge fell for 'that old chestnut'
THey could write what they liked couldn't they without being cross examined.
That's why Ma Healy and Trish had to go out there in person.

I've just watched Ma Healy on the TODAY, NBC show again..............and i can't wait for her to give evidence under 'oath'

I agree they made an enormous mistake using the suicide angle. Not only for the purposes of the trial was it ill-advised, but also because it will require Social Services to be extra vigilant regarding the twins' safety.

Do you know what, I would like to go to Portugal for the summing up and verdict by the Judge , if we were allowed to sit in the Gallery. Cheap Air Fare and Hotel for a couple of nights, would be well worth it.

They are not but i think Madeleine still is.

However given the 'suicide' threats from their mother and her proclamations about wanting to take all her family with her, either by car crash or pushing a button and they'd all be gone, then they should certainly be monitored by the Leicester Social Services.

Just after the McCanns returned to the U.K. as Aguidos, it was suggested by the QC in the event the McCanns were arrested so that would be 2007.
As far as I know this order was never rescinded because if you remember the McCanns went to Justice Hogg overa year later to ask for the information Leicester Police held. However the Chief of Police said it was an ongoing investigation so the Mccanns had to be content with eight sheets of paper.

The ward off court was put in as early as may 2007 i think and it came to court in 2008 I think.
