I think that's a little more complicated. the last trial was on the basis that he flouted a legal agreement and undertaking not to do or say certain things. whether that will change now if there is a change in the McCs statements I don't know.

It appears now that the timelines drawn up on that piece of cardboard was for the the benefit of the Police before they reported Madeleine missing. It discredits the Tapas group and will certainly reveal the lies of the McCanns and the runaround they gave the Portugese Police. Don't forget the window open and curtains blowing in the Channel 4 progamme, will that be part of the re-enactment.??? The Press is piling it on, what will they make of all this after the recon has been shown ?

If they are trying to get rid of Paynes sighting, why ? Who then becomes the last independent witness to see Madeleine that evening ? Albeit Payne is not very independent, but he was outside of th family unit. Are they trying to protect him, has he changed his statement ?

We have spent years wondering what makes the McCanns special. Perhaps somebody in their company is the special one (and he is not called not Murhino). I have always wondered about Payne, the only blot on his copy book was that visit. Otherwise he was completely out of the picture, he did not even use the toilet that night, he never moved from the table, he had his listener with him, too squeaky clean, IMO. The Gasper issues all ignored, swept away under the rug and significantly never challenged.

SY can say what they want, they still have to justify what Kate McCann herself wrote. She said it was the truth, she wrote it. She and her husband have ruined people's lives because they claim their own version was right and everybody else was wrong. Now it seems it could not have happened the way she told it, so Tony Bennett and others were right to question events, to disbelieve them, to challenge whats in the truthful book ?

ETA The TB case should change because his thoughts would have been based on their timelines. Anyway, it has gone on to long for it to be an oversight and written down by the group. Think there is something more drastic to come in the next few days. imo

I think all this will be grist to the Mill for the Judge in the Libel case, Amaral will be lauging all the way to the Bank. 

How could Mitchell not see the danger for the McCanns in this reconstruction?

At the very least Krisy, Amaral will win .......the Judge is clued up and will check out the Tapas statements and note that they did not want to attend a recon.

Two things which I thought about.  First the photo with the tennis balls.  Is that actually Madeleine or the little girl from the reconstruction.  Or is it a photo of Madeleine being a ball girl at a tennis game earlier in the week.  Also would whether or not David Payne visited the apartment make any difference to the time the abductor was supposed to have struck.  And I also thought if all the family was at the tennis courts are they going to suggest the abductor somehow got into the apartment then and stayed hidden until 9 pm.  It's too confusing.

But where in the apartment could an abductor hide MaryB? The twin and Madeleine were bathed and put too bed. The McCanns changed clothes for the evening. Nowhere to hide.  

I'm becoming cautiously optimist, and hopefully the Crimewatch will
be the 'Trojan horse' that I'm being to believe it will be. Think about
it folks, SY are telling the WORLD and it's dog, that for the past 7 years
all or most of the statements/witnesses/evidence that has been given
so far by mainly the tapas 7 and mccanns....is WRONG!
Therefore, all the good people who questioned this wrongful testimony,
and pointed out its inaccurate and implausibility must now be vindicated.
It will undoubtedly help GA against his accusers and open the gates for
the media to print the truth at last without fear of legal restraints.
It also, at a stroke, degrades Kate's book as NOT such a truthful account.
IMO, TM are caught in a trap, they refused the PJ reconstruction and we
all know why, now they are being shown that their story which they have
clung to for so long is falling apart.
Interesting times ahead.

Of course.  But on the other hand how could people have forgotten Madeleine was at the tennis match being a ball girl.  It all seems to defy logic so I thought this might be another case of just that.

If the Met can now say with certainty that the original timelines are wrong, then one thing is for sure.

from the 1st day i learned of this crime watch programme i said there would be changes in timelines - my hubby said they cant do that - only bit of interest he takes btw - and here we are - how will this look to the tapas - friends family will be thinking they have lied about this what else - now you KNOW why the tapas are not behind the mcanns in portugal - all we have to think about now is WHO has changed their statements and when

Morning MaryB.......just a little recap to unconfuse you:grin: 

According to Gerry, he asked Payne about 6.30pm to pop into 5a and ask Kate if she wanted to take the children to the Tennis Court. Since Gerry was having a lesson , why would he want the Family there? The lesson finished at 7pm and the children were usually bathed and in their nightwear by 7pm, and in Bed by 7.30pm.

Kate says Payne only stayed a couple of minutes Paynes says longer.

I read a long time ago that Oldfield returned to Portugal to alter his statement that he saw the children at 9pm, he now says he listened at the window.

Now Crimewatch are showing Madeleine in the Tennis Court, it might be because it has been proved that someone saw Madeleine on the Court and the Tennis Coach never had a lesson with Gerry from 6 to 7 pm.


Gerry says he "felt " there was someone behind the door on his 9 pm check , yet never bothered to look???

What this Crimewatch will prove is the lies told by the Tapas group.......maybe that's the intention.

SO, if THIS is the last photo, does this mean that whatever day it was taken is the last day Madeleine was seen by an independent witness?
What day does it say this photo was taken in the files?
Does Deadwood actually SAY this photo was taken on the 3rd?

If this was taken on the 3rd it would have been on the camera downloads and surely would have been used as the main photo given out as the 'have you seen this girl'.

Why NSY can't see this is all a croak of sh*t is beyond me

This is what I was getting at earlier. Was the McCann's last photo falsified by the McCann's to fit in with their agenda.
