Well, they certainly are on this one - there are TWO readers' letters, in quick succession, telling us about the "decent, innocent people" that are the McCanns, and "Madaline's (sic) angel face". Of course, the trouble with PE is that you never quite know whether they have published them in all seriousness, or whether they are extracting the urine. TBH I would have expected to see entire issues about the elephant in the room that is the McCann case, but PE have remained remarkably quiet. Hyslop can't afford to be sued again. But then on P22, we have this gem.

FURY AT ROMA GYPSIES by Phil Space

There was widespread condemnation of the Roma gypsies by Britain's newspaper editors after the little blonde girl found with them was revealed not to be Madeleine McCann.

"It's a disgrace to think how many more copies of the paper we'd have sold if this little angel was Maddie", said one editor.

Errr, apart from the fact it is illegal to use private investigators in Portugal during an on-going police investigation but errr if I tell the truth the money will stop.

They really are a disgusting pair mossman, I watched the 1st video of gthe 5 and Kate has the cheek to still claim the window was open and curtains blowing, even though that porky pie had been denied by the Portugese Police months before.

Your'e not going to believe this, 3 times I have posted from the book some of the cases where dogs have found evidence of murder and where some children go through horrendous suffering as we have known from recent cases. Because i am a two fingered typist It has taken a while but as I press send, either the post disappears because someone else must be posting at exactly the same time or "web page is busy". This is one unusual case...... The case with a legal significance may not have yet been fully appreciated , is that of JEANETTE ZAPATTA.in Dane Country USA. In 1976 she served divorce papers on her husband Eugene Zapata . She went missing shortly afterwards. 29 years later dogs alerted in the basement of the Family Home , and in several other places where the family had lived over the intervening time . At Trial his Lawyer persuaded the judge that the dog's finding could not be admitted , since the places in which they had alerted indicated that he had csrried the body round to everywhere he had lived , and it was suggested that this was preposterous.The Jury failed to reach a verdict . Before his re-trial however , he confessed and crucially confirmed that he had in fact transported the body round before disposing of it. THE DOGS HAD BEEN ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE.
No body had been found.

Don't know the reason for that, but if you type it into a word document and save and then paste into forum, at least it isn't lost if there is a malfunction. I often copy a post before sending, just in case.

Never thought of that jassi , bit laborious though. Fancy those dogs , after 29 yrs confirming their finding, amazing. I do think if the Portugese had not used FSS on the advice of the SY team they could have obtained a positive result. FSS were so bad that many Police Stations have their own forensic departments now. Oddly enough FFS was sold to an American Company not long after and FSS did not return the samples to the Portugese Police because "they were never asked to"....more evidence of a cover up???

Not really - you have to type it anyway and its easy enough to paste into this forum with risk of losing what you've typed.

I don't understand the destroying of samples as a standard procedure. How then do they solve crimes years after the event with DNA ? I understand them destroying a sample taken from an accused person or suspect later found innocent, but crime scene samples just does not appear to ring true. The foolproof way would surely be to retain them at all costs, unless instructed otherwise. Another thing that seems the wrong way around in this mess.

You have to wonder if the EVRD's should be brought back, or indeed if the floor should be again lifted in 5a. Would there be some samples left to harvest ?

O.K. I'll give it a go , Ive just copied it and will paste it in my Computer "how to do" File. I have just watched a Video from the 5 videos thread , and named it number 6, it's a compilation of other videos , including Amaral's , and dispatches, worth a look when you have an hour to spare.

I agree mossman and FFS also amended their first finding, everything points to a cover-up. Why would the British Detectives recommend FFS when they knew their reputation.? Stuart Prior, the Detective in charge of the small team that went to PDL initially to help the McCanns was apparently furious that 15 out of 19 markers were positive and said they would be accepted in any British Court but these were destroyed .

Well normally any samples of such importance are stored safely, but with these Cowboys , nothing was safe mossman. It is easy to be wise after the event but it stinks, you know for something as important as DNA samples , you should never destroy them, send them back to PDL letting them know you are being taken over and will not be able to analyse any more samples. In fact, I did read a long time ago that the Portugese Police were irritated that the samples sent to FFS were taking much longer to be analysed than those taken by their own Forensic Dept. They did a little test and sent samples the same day to the Portugese Forensics and FFS and even allowing for the disparity in distances, their own Forensics sent their report 2 weeks earlier than FFS.

There was also a rumour that the Portugese had sent samples to Spain, but who knows??? If the Portugese had good samples showing Madeleine's blood in 5a , and in the car. they would have charged them end of story Why did Kate do so much washing 2 days after madeleine disappeared? why wash every item of Madeleine's in 5a so soon. As a doctor she would know about DNA more than anyone. When Jerry had to go home to pick up a sample of Madeleine's DNA, he chose a Pillow from her bed, what if is was from Amelie's Bed, did a Police Officer go into the room with him? Funny you have posted this, earlier this afternoon I was watching a couple of the five Videos and marvelled that Kate re-enacted the shutters story when two years previously it was confirmed that the shutters were not moved, Oh, come on, get this Trial over and if Amaral wins which i think he will, let's see what the McCanns do then. They are even dictating what they want at the trial , they want to be "astistenes" and they shouldn't have to take the stand themselves, come on PJ , tell them to p*** off.they have been too soft with them for too long.

Hunter is facing charges of first-degrr murder and child abuse in Jhessye's disappearance . HUNTER REPORTED HER DAUGHTER MISSING .Police beleive with certainty that Jhessye was killed and her remains were placed at the Butterfield Landfill. On Nov.23 , about six weeks after Jhessye was reported missing a woman contacted investigators. She said that 7 to 15 days before Hunter reported her daughter missing , she gave Hunter a ride to Tempe.At the time Hunter Hunter put a large , heavy suitcase in the Woman's trunk. When they got to Tempe Hunter put it in a skip . HUNTER EVEN APOLOGISED TO THE WOMAN FOR THE SMELL IN THE SUITCASE. Police tested the trunk of that car and it tested positive for blood. Jhessye's body has never been found .
Glenfield Police said they beleive she was killed and her body was thrown in a trash c. Investigators have been working on the case since Oct.2011 when Hunter reported her daughter when Hunter reported her missing .

"I'm not going into the detail, but I can say that Kate and Gerry are firmly of the view that somebody got into the apartment and took Madeleine out of the window as their means of escape and to do tht .....THEY DID NOT NECESSARILY HAVE TO TAMPER WITH ANYTHING.They got out of the window fairly easily."
