RE: I CAN FIND MADDIE
The McCanns are trying to have Amaral's book banned and to bankrupt him because he says Madeleine is dead and therefore - they claim - people won't look for her. Are they now going to take legal action against Kruger and the Star?

So they were able to give this guy samples of Madeleine's hair (dna) but nothing for the pj.

Not much truth in this I think. Why didn't he give the muddy pink blanket to the police? It would have been able to provide a lot of evidence - just stupid.

They most probably took advice from Amanda Hart and Diane Lazarus....2 more dodgy psychics....
The McCanns only work with people who have a fraudulent history.....excluding the best lawyers for their defense of course...

Didnt they go search and take some dogs with them to the site where krugel says she is buried?
Well, Mr krugel wasn't exactly very precise the first time... Yes, the area was checked (it had been before Mr Krugel too) but it is impossible to dig up such extensive areas if there isn't a clear indication about something. And I doubt Mr Krugel has clear indications about anything...

You're right Claudia....in the link above he says he found 2 girls bodies....
What he doesnt say is the bones were found 2 km away and when testes they were not theirs but his friend added his triumph to a blog and it hasnt been taken down or updated either.
All these people are the same...I keep asking this but is there solid proof a psychic has ever found anyone?

Re: I CAN FIND MADDIE
Daniel Krugel, a South African private detective who last July searched for Maddie in Praia da Luz (and who had been invited by the McCann) claims to know where Maddie is buried.
Daniel Krugel declared to the “Sunday Mirror”: “I am convinced that Madeleine’s body is in Praia da Luz”. He added that “the chances that she is alive are very slim”.According to the Portuguese newspapers, a source close to the investigation says that the place is the area where Maddie’s father used to jog.
According to the newspaper “Correio da ManhĂ£”, the Portuguese authorities believe that the body may have been buried on the beach a few hours after her death. Daniel Kruger confirmed that he arrived in Portugal with his team on 17 July and during 4 days he used a machine of his own invention which can detect people based on their DNA. The targeted areas were the Ocean Club apartment as well as the surroundings and main exits from Praia da Luz.
Krugel told the “Sunday Mirror” that he is about to return to Portugal at the McCann request. In a report he surrendered to the Portuguese police, Krugel mentions a 500 square metre area as the probable place where Maddie was buried. However, the authorities did not proceed to any dig on the area.
Krugel says that his work started with one of Maddie’s hair which had been provided by Gerry McCann. “The aim was to have a chart of the DNA”. He then used the machine of his own invention (called matter orientation system) which, based on quantum physics and GPS, can reveal the location of a body.
Of his work done in Algarve he states that: “I did an extensive search in Praia da Luz with the help of the machine and of some friends. We were there 16 hours a day. No place was forgotten”. Mr Krugel is forbidden to reveal the location he mentioned in his report to the police as per Portuguese law.
He stated to the “News of the World” that he is not mentioning it to “avoid people going there out of curiosity and therefore destroying evidence”. He however stressed that “everyday the trail was clearer”. “The machine was always providing the same bearings which made me always come back to the same location. This made me believe that Madeleine is there”.
Daniel Krugel a former colonel of the South African police is known as “The Locator” name given after his discovery of several bodies. He guarantees a success of 90% in all the cases he investigated.
It was following Daniel Krugel’s work that the request for the British dogs (which can smell dead bodies) was made. This lead to the collection of evidence which in its turn lead to the belief that the McCann were guilty.
My opinion???? What to believe? So many incredible stories about Madeleine’s disappearance have been around that one does not know what to believe anymore…besides this one seems to be a little bit “tirĂ©e par les cheveux” as we would say in French!!!
Quantum physics and GPS to locate DNA? I’ll let the scientists answer…

This might well be the case. A sighting or a piece of info. that someone "forgot" to reveal at the time.
Otherwise I ask myself what on earth was he doing down there? A winter break?
Also - I realise it's important for them to keep Maddie "alive" - but I wonder if it might get to the point when a body would have to be found?
Might they think that was a way out of a badly deteriorating situation?

Scientist and former South African police colonel Danie Krugel secretly flew out to Portugal to meet the couple before spending a week tracking the four-year-old's DNA trail.
Using cutting-edge technology, Krugel led Portuguese police to an area of beach 500 yards from where she vanished.
Detectives took his finding so seriously that they sealed off the entire area.
But in what could turn out to be yet another astonishing bungle, Portuguese police never bothered to dig at the spot.
Now, as sacked police chief Goncalo Amaral is off the inquiry and a new officer, Carlos do Carmo - dubbed "Portugal's Robocop" - takes over, Krugel is heading back to reinvestigate.
A source close to the McCanns said last night: "Kate and Gerry are pleased he's returning. They worked with him before and want to see his leads investigated."
----------------
He said: "Gerry sent me a strand of Madeleine's hair for DNA purposes, which had been removed from her coat."
Krugel became a household name in South Africa when he created a DNA tracking device which solved a 19-year mystery about the whereabouts of six schoolgirls snatched by a paedophile.
He told last night how he used the same method to track a potential burial spot for Madeleine on the beach in Praia da Luz.
The area was sealed off and Krugel suggested sniffer dogs be brought in to further pinpoint the spot where they needed to dig. Yet ironically, when the dogs arrived they were used by cops to turn the finger of suspicion on to Gerry and Kate.
Portuguese police were more excited about the dogs' reaction when they searched the McCanns' Ocean Club apartment and hire car.
It means the area on the beach has still not been searched properly by officers and no dig has ever taken place.
And it came amid new reports from Portuguese newspaper Correio yesterday claiming police believe Madeleine was buried on the beach in Praia da Luz soon after her death.
e.t.a. the first Portuguese sniffer dogs lost the scent at the supermarket, I think. I recall they followed the scent along a wall? leading down to the beach where of course all the McCs had been.

If he was for real (he and all the other of his kind) he would come here and show us some results! We're fed up of
I treat these 'people' with the respect they deserve: zero. As far as I'm concerned they are nothing but leeches who attach themselves to high profile cases. Of course my mind can be easily changed: I just need one to actually produce visible results (actually finding Madeleine's body would do it for me!).
Re: I CAN FIND MADDIE
What puzzles me is this "cutting-edge technology" to track a DNA's trail, allegedely Krueger uses. If that's true, how can that no police force in the world, as ever tried this miraculous machine? Krueger could make a lot of money by selling the patent...

I agree, despite people saying KM is tough, to me she doesn't look like she can stand much more of this, and since Ricardo Paiva's 'unhelpful' mentioning of the dream phonecall, i think there is a mini panic in the midst of camp McCann. The poem and the service at Rothley Court was more like a requiem or a wake. Rothley court chapel is quite small, I presume it was the family chapel of former owners, so it will look full even if not many turned out. I presume it was chosen for that reason instead of a church.

I suspect his device is as effective as Maya's predictions.

Didnt mr amaral say that the sniffer dogs went to the beach but due to the salt in the air it put the dogs off.

So Kate and Gerry are trying for a permanent ban on Amaral's book on the grounds that his saying Madeleine is dead will hinder the search, but they're pleased that this man is returning to try to locate the body? Right!
