Absolutely
Totally correct Panda, you are 100% right. The so called Arab spring was; I believe anyway, masterminded by the terrorist elements. By sticking our oar in, we have not only not made things better, we have made them in many cases worse.
Not least because these people have no loyalty to us or to their host country. What they see, or claim to see is us fighting against their brothers in religion. The brutal killing of Fusilier Rigby was our proof. Afghanistan as one example. The Taliban have resurfaced (not that they ever went away) and are even seeking diplomatic status which they will probably get. In the meantime, they have infiltrated the police and Armed forces in Afghanistan, and been properly trained at our expense to re-establish their rule once we have gone.
Karzai cannot stand for re election anyway, and wouldn't even if he could. As a marked man he'll be on the most convenient flight to wherever he can best enjoy his Swiss bank account. In that respect alone we have seen our soldiers killed and maimed to no purpose. Along with US and coalition troops, not forgetting innocent women and children.
Iraq was a complete disaster as was Libya, Egypt, and everywhere else. democracy has no place in Islam. It is completely opposed to democracy. The entire purpose is to Islamify the host country not integrate, There is trouble coming

Interesting
It may be an interesting take Marky, but it is happening all over the globe with the exception of the once communist countries which are still relatively free. It is a plain fact that every Muslim is required insofar as he is able to help in whatever way to Islamify the host country. To that degree at least they do not come here to integrate, but to subjugate. Democracy plays no part in Islam.
It is always claimed that the extremists are a very small part of the whole. How often does this "whole" condemn the acts of these extremists? If they are not part of the solution, then perhaps they are part of the problem.

It's the terrible destruction of Cities leaving millions of refugees homeless I feel sorry for. It is said that children will grow up not knowing what a house looks like .

You're not wrong there badboy. There are no signs that he's losing. Neither side seems worried in the slightest about how many they kill of maim, or displace. The dead are all destined for paradise anyway. so from the extremist point of view the killers are doing them a favour.
It is in Russian interest to keep Assad in charge, since they need the warm water port he can give them. Of course if the other side promised the Russians they would maintain the status quo, there might be a seismic shift in their support.
Assad is quite obviously a monster by any standard, but I can't say the rebels especially the mercenaries claiming to be British, French German etc are any better. Whoever is using poison gas this time round they have no regard at all not only for killing, but killing slowly and in agony.

Syrian civil war
Good evening badboy.
I suspect you are right again. Look at the situation in Iraq, The war goes on, with almost daily bombings. The only real effect is to foster the emergence of a new terrorist grouping, as if we needed another of those.
Afghanistan is another case in point. The Taliban never went away just, as you say bided their time, and spread into Pakistan. Another war which looks to be endless.
Syria is showing no signs of any peace deal after all the bloody years. The main purpose seemingly being to train all these alleged British, French, and Danish Muslims in urban warfare. They are, (IMHO) no more British, French, Danish than the man in the moon. Simply serving to show what they will bring to our streets, if our governments continue their blind and wilful policies

Where is there a shred of proof that it is Assad's forces using these terrible weapons?
Of course the man is a monster by any western definition, and I have no doubt would not hesitate to order their use, if he thought it would help him. As with the last time he was supposed to have used them, his forces had just had a string of conventional victories.(If you can call this wanton and senseless continual killing and maiming victory)
Remember though that just as he himself doesn't give a rap about his people, neither do the so called rebels. Any Muslim killed in the slaughter will be immediately labelled as a martyr by whichever side they are fighting on and all sides are more than willing to use such means of killing and then try to use it as propaganda.
As far as I can see the main purpose of this has now become a live training ground for would be terrorists from the west. Going there to gain knowledge of urban fighting, and then coming back to their respective, and for the moment at least safe havens when they get tired, or it becomes dangerous for them.
It may very well turn out to be Assad's doing, as I say he is a monster. That monster though is hydra headed, and the other belligerents are just as bad, and just as merciless.

Panda
The video is ample proof that chemical weapons were in fact used by someone. While I fully accept that Assad may have ordered his forces to use them, it proves no more than that.
Originally designed to be dropped from the air, they could easily be modified, or used as is. It may even be a rogue pilot who no longer agrees with Assad, and has gone over. These terrorist groups who call themselves Freedom fighters are equally capable of carrying out such an atrocity for propaganda purposes, human life meaning less than nothing to either side.
The telegraph is in the business of selling papers, just like any other rag or broadsheet. They have taken a position that Assad is responsible, and that is that. The last time it happened there was a great cry of Assad is a monster. It has all died down now, that the evidence gathered by the inspectors (remember Assad gave them access, but rebel forces initially denied access) didn't quite support the accusations. he agreed to get rid of Chemical weapons, he has been getting rid of chemical weapons, his forces have retaken control of the Country bordering Lebanon. Why should he use them again? On the other hand it is good propaganda for the forces ranged against him.
