Redwood really has lost the Plot....he only wants to search the bank accounts of these suspects, methinks this search may not be made. Sky News Report - Page 6 25346

Sorry if I'm being dim but where does it say about searching bank accounts?

Official Find Madeleine Campaign
7th of May 2014 - Media Interference

We are dismayed with the way the media has behaved over the last couple of days in relation to our daughter’s case. There is an on-going, already challenging, police investigation taking place and media interference in this way not only makes the work of the police more difficult, it can potentially damage and destroy the investigation altogether – and hence the chances of us finding Madeleine and discovering what has happened to her. As Madeleine’s parents, this just compounds our distress. We urge the media to let the police get on with their work and please show some respect and consideration to Madeleine and all our family.

Thank you.

Just thinking out loud......how did cadaver scent get to be outside the parents bedroom on the veranda and in the flowerbed.

So that's by their bedroom door near the wardrobe, outside on the veranda and below onto the flowerbed.

I wonder if the broken shutter in the parents bedroom is significant to this.

I remember that and had a theory that Madeleine died in 5a Gerry found her on his visit and put her body in a Tennis bag and hid it in the Wardrobe. Kate never looked in the wardrobe so genuinely thought Madeleine had been abducted. Before the Police arrived Gerry put the bag in the bottom of the garden and while everyone was searching took the bag somewhere else. The church was discussed because the McCanns had the key and Fr. Pacecho was very distressed said he had been deceived but because of his religion could not reveal what he knew., another mystery.

So why has DCI Redwood 'studiously' kept well away from seeking the Pope's 'permission' to interview Fr. Pacecho?

The new Pope Francis wants 'everything' to be 'above board', as he has stated many, many times, dosen't he?

Not going to look 'good' if one of his 'clergy' KNOWS about a 'possible' child death and it is eventually exposed, is it?

And he KNEW!

'I was deceived' says the Portuguese priest who comforted Gerry and Kate McCann

Last updated at 10:03 18 October 2007

The Portuguese priest who comforted Gerry and Kate McCann in the days after Madeleine vanished last night said he had been deceived, it has emerged.

According to reports, Father Jose Manuel Pacheco claimed he had done nothing wrong and was simply "supporting two lost souls."

But, bizarrely, he also appeared to say he had been the victim of some form of deception.

Scroll down for more ...

It has also emerged Father Pacheco was apparently called in to see his superior, Algarve Bishop Manuel Quintas and warned about his behaviour.

In the days after Madeleine vanished on May 3, the McCanns, both 39 and devout Catholics, frequently sought refuge at the priest's church.

They became so close to Father Pacheco, he gave them the keys to the tiny building so they could go in to pray whenever they liked.

However, his friendship with the couple appeared to spectacularly backfire after police became convinced Kate had told him she had killed her daughter during confession.

But he has vowed to take whatever she had said to the grave, despite being quizzed by detectives.

Father Pacheco appeared to virtually vanish from the public eye in the weeks after Gerry and Kate were made arguidos - or official suspects.

The pair left Portugal without saying goodbye and handed the church keys to another clergyman.

If it was a FACT there would have been a Trial LJC

To recap, Fr Pacecho , being a friend of the guy who let the McCanns park their hire car in his garage , can't think of his name , gave the McCanns the key to the Church so they could pray at night there . A while later he got very upset saying the McCanns had deceived him and he moved away from PDL His religion would have been forbidden to tell what confessions he had been told.

As for Redwood , apart from not having an intelligent looking face, do you really believe as Baldrick would say "I have a Plan"??? He and his team have spent more than £5 million, from Crimestoppers which yielded nothing, to all these so called sightings in different Countries, again which yielded nothing, now the spotlight is on PDL and we have yet more suspects conveniently worth investigating.

As I write, Kay Burley has announced that the McCanns have issued a statement deploring the Press intrusion at PDL, yet without a pause, she says
"of course the McCanns made good use of the Press in their search for Madeleine"

Latest Report from Martin Brunt in PDL

Photo of SY sitting outside a Cafe having a coffee., discussing their plans no doubt but none of them would speak to Reporters. One Restaurant owner interviewed says while he wishes all the best . as do other Residents he hopes the English Press will keep away.. A Woman outside her Shop said everyone wants to know the truth about what happened but hopes it is not going to affect their Trade.

Can the Press keep out of the way though???

Hi malena, the post I just made shows that SY need to tread very carefully with the Portugese. To come to PDL supposedly to help with the search, armed with a request to visit the homes of 3 Portugese and obtain Bank Statements for 8 others is hardly Diplomatic is it.

It certainly isn't Panda, I think SY are well out of order to go to a sovereign state from whom they, (or the UK establishment) had previously witheld requested information and demand access to Portuguese nationals and personal information which seems hardly relevant to the case in question.

It really was a different matter altogether when the Portuguese requested similar info regarding the McCanns.

Pass.
How much did you claim on your expenses for two pay-per-view pornographic films watched by your husband while you were in London?
Pass.
How much did you claim for a solid stone sink from Habitat? What’s wrong with B&Q?
Pass.

The McCanns have been protected since day one and I would like to know why,but never will.

Stick around Panda - you might just be surprised one of these days...

The McCanns have been walking on water for the last 7 years T4two and even if a skeleton is found and proved to be Madeleine, anybody could have put it there will be the argument.
