kitti wrote:So IF the mccanns lible case is won and they get 1m then they have NO alternative but to re-open the case as this proves she is still alive as the mccanns have just proved it by winning, doesnt it.
As amaral loosing will proove that maddie is NOT dead by awarding the money so the judges have just agreed with the mccanns.
So there is a bright outlook the case MUST be opened.
Well said !
That is how I see it.
I assume there will be an impact on the case.

I don"t see how either party could be right, apparently while the case was being investigated the Portugese
Prosecutor asked a Judge if there was sufficient evidence to charge the Mccanns, he said "show me the body".
Amaral claims that in his book he doesn"t say the McCanns killed her and disposed of her body, he says that
in his opinion Madeleine died in the Apartment.

Brunty, live in PDL
Daft twat is reporting live outside the church in PDL, said he hasn't seen the Mcs, they went to the church at 5.30 a.m. today, then they walked along the rocks, and felt close to Madeleine, he thinks they will visit apartment 5a in the morning. So in a nutshell, he knows bugger all,and is repeating what was written on the find madeleine website. What a wanker?

That, Fred, would imply that he has something with which to wank.

Isn't Sky News's Martin Brunt meant to be a CRIME correspondent NOT a CELEBRITY correspondent or has he been demoted considering his CRIME corresponding days seem to well and truly over?

Re: Brunty - McCanns v Amaral...The Next Round
According to him Kate McCann has been "longing" to return to PDL - oh yes, that's the same Kate McCann who didn't want to know about going back to do a reconstruction - however, he did mention that they had to do a dawn raid on the church "as some of the locals were not happy about them being there". There's a surprise.

kate McCann Returns To Praia Da Luz
December 12, 2009 6:31 PM - Written by Martin Brunt
Kate McCann must have got up at an unearthly hour to ensure her emotional return to Praia da Luz went unnoticed.
We missed her and so did the fishermen who were on the beach long before dawn.
Apparently she and Gerry were there at 5.30 am to wander the deserted seafront and visit the nearby church which became their sanctuary in the weeks after Madeleine's disappearance.
So, they managed to keep the trip private as they intended, but it must have taken some determination....
No don't think he is being sarcastic tbh, he hasn't the intelligence for that. He is a journalist (haha) for Skylies, so he is a noddy dog, that does what he is told and nothing else.

She must have been gazing out into blackness as she sat on those rocks. Either that, or she made it all up and she never went there at all.

well, anna, you don't know what to believe in this surreal tale sometimes
fred i do think that martin brunt has a real interest in the case - when he says we missed her - what does that mean? they had reporters planted in several places around the area from the crack of dawn? and were the fishermen told to be on the lookout?
lol malena - bless him
that old piece of advice comes to mind - don't believe everything you read

Re: Brunty - McCanns v Amaral...The Next Round
But why announce a private visit on their own website? Why tell anyone where they went or when, or how they're going to be spending the rest of their time there? They've no need to say a word about a private visit to anyone; who needs to know? I'm totally baffled by their need to publicise their actions in this way.
The only publicity needed is for Dave Edgar's words about how he's certain Madeleine is being held near Praia da Luz and about how they must search as much of that area as possible. When are they going to publicise that?

Re: Brunty - McCanns v Amaral...The Next Round
I wonder if someone, (not Kate McCann imho), posted that garbage in an attempt to divert attention.....?
Personally I have long wondered about the sea but I also can't help but wonder if this is perhaps an attempt to get the 'cess-pit dwellers' well and truly wound up... catch out anyone who suggests that anything could have happened to Madeleine in the church or down the beach... when those in the know know full well it all occurred at a different location entirely...? Lets face it, they certainly appear desperate of late... (???)
I'm extremely interested in the things they've been doing that they don't talk about, - i.e. the things that people like proper investigative journalists can so easily find out about.
Amethyst, - that old advice sounds very wise to me... A most interesting blog imo.

Good question. Did she go for a walk, in the pitch dark (it's almost new moon) on that rocky beach below the church or did she make it up?

Perhaps the headlines for the Express tomorow are hinting the same, "I NEED TO BE NEAR MADDIE".
