The parents of Madelaine Mc Cann are confident of gaining the judgment for defamation, against a Portuguese ex-police officer.

The McCann think about how to support a prohibition for the sale of the biography of ancient detective Goncalo Amaral, who supports the thesis that the minor died in the tourist complex of Praia there gives Luz where it was seen for last time.

The book of the ex-police officer, titled "Madeleine: The Truth of the Lie", it supports that the minor was murdered by his parents, who supposedly invented the theory of the disappearance to escape from the justice.

The parents of the minor, finally achieved that a Portuguese court was prohibiting the publication of the work, and now they ask for 1,6 million dollars in compensation, money that they indicated will be used for Madeleine's search.

The girl is eliminated from May, 2007 when they were of holidays in the south of Portugal.

I don"t think they will find the Portugese so generous this time round, in fact the empty buckets will be put over Kate and Fiona"s heads more like.

I think Round 1 and 2 went to Amaral, but not today, his Witnesses weren"t so positive.

Just a thought, if this is just the Hearing and it is going into a second month, how long would a Trial last and what new Witnesses could be introduced?

So are they saying that the McCanns have achieved prohibition of the book and have increased their demands for libel damages, before the hearing on the10th February.

Its not often you hear the Hare agreeing with any actions taken by Gerry McCann, but in this case, I think he'd be justified.

I dont think she has the philosophical framework in place to allow her to represent clients who she knows without a shadow of a doubt are invoved in the disapearence of their child. Subconsiously she's struggling with this. She's supposed to be the prosecution lawyer, but she seams constantly taking a defensive position.
