Mr Velho: No, I didn't know that.
Oh God this is looking really bad for Mr Amaral.
Why? I doubt Amaral did the TV programme scheduling. He just helped to make the documentary which was sold to the TV company. Up to them when they want to show it.

3:36 jondipaolo: Mr Velho's testimony has ended and he has left the court.
The next witness to take the stand is Paulo Soares, another executive from TVI.

Re: Sky Live Day 3 - 14/01/10
Soares: We tried to buy the documentary produced by (British) Channel 4 but were unable to.
unbelivable ! i wonder why ? FFS this was the mockumentary produced by the McCann's themselves. Why wouldnt they want a portugese audience to see it ?

WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE HERE???
Oh my good.
Such questions...
What about the investigation and the truth in Amarals book????
That should be the only theme!!!!
It is like Kindergarten in the court-room imo.
It doesn´t hit the nail.

Agreed, she's come up with NOTHING that makes you go 'ouch!' she's about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike as my dad says

The Hare would be very interested to see what footage from the McCanns mocumentary ended up on the cutting room floor after Amarals documentary was shown !
(Its suspect its all digitally edited these days, but you know what I mean)

Soares: Though there were lots of cameras in the Algarve there was no in-depth analysis of the case.

Re: Sky Live Day 3 - 14/01/10
Why is it of any relevance at all that it was screened on Madeleine's birthday?? Kate and Gerry were very comfortable swanning around like D list celebs on her first birthday after she went missing.

I just checked an email I sent to Nancy Grace producer advising her of the link..It was April 13th 2009 (Program time 9.25 pm Portugal time 3.25pm EST)
Madeleine's birthday is May!
Have I got it wrong?
Re: Sky Live Day 3 - 14/01/10
Soares: Suddenly, the production firm lost interest in selling the documentary, because the McCanns didn't want it broadcast on our channel.
I bet they didnt, and the obvious question is WHY ?
