Oh poor old Brunty. Didn't realise that he was on "live". "The sound is crap" he said before SKY pulled the plug. Best laugh I've had since yesterday.

Didn't notice any questions from non-british media.
Clearly rehearsed questions.
They might have had a minor victory yesterday, but they look very, very worried.
Hardly any trace of Gerry's smugness.
KG as per usual puts on the poor little me act, doesn't wash any more you poor excuse for a mother.

Saying the detective that was called a lier needs to be investigated....hope hes watching!!!
No answer to the question about re-opening...just evasive crap lol
No law enforcements looking or co-operating....what does that say for you...
Leads from the pj were not looked into....nor were the leads by the dicks looked into either as only credible leads were..so non-credible leads have to be looked into the the pj but not by the dicks...

What tame, unchallenging questions.
It's the CASE that needs reopening, not the file ffs.
My red button did sod all please anyone are any proper questions being asked now?

I thought they both looked really worried, especially GM. Did anyone see his face when asked what he thought about LP going over and looking at the caslike a cold case file? He didn't look too happy about that.

Re: Sky News 11.30 Press conference live
i actually thought it would appear rather dreary and boring to people who don't have our interest in the case. there was no response from the people in the room at the end (seem to remember applause in the early days). I think it ismore likely Tiger's press conference this afternoon will make the front pages.

Absolutely right Kitty, neither want that.
Easier to blame Amaral and his associates, i.e. anyone who doesn't support their bulshite.

You can send support to Sr. Amaral from this link. I have already done so on behalf of me and my wife.

Re: Sky News 11.30 Press conference live
Kate and Gerry,
I'm sorry but you only get 2/10 from that performance from me.
Granted Madeleine's name was mentioned a few times and Gerry, - you earn a point for managing to keep your temper, (from the bit I saw anyway).
However, imo you really do need to work on refraining from banging on about your frustrations and how awful people are and find a little more enthusiastism about 'the search'. Granted you clearly believe that reopening the case is 'a technicality' but if you want things done you have to ask and your responses strongly suggest that you are not/have not been asking, - I think Gerry, you said it was 'too difficult'..?
Forget 'Stuart' I should and get and ask the people who have the power to help you, instead of pleading poverty and moaning to those of us who can't.
For Madeleine

Well I hope Stuart's superiors are watching and pick up the gauntlet.

Re: Sky News 11.30 Press conference live
Someone (with a bit of education) must have put that statement together, Kate can't usually string two words together and the use of Madeleine's name made a change. I agree with a previous poster they do look very worried, I thought Gerry looked terrible. It seems to me that they know they have nowhere to go with this now. I feel some pressure is on them from somewhere to get the police involved now. It doesn't make sense to keep critisising police forces IMO. I just can't put my finger on it but something doesn't add up with what they are saying.
