Isnt Sr Amaral supposed to be having a Press Conference today also? Or did I misunderstand that somehow.

I only saw a clip on the Sky news video. So didn't see any questions as I have been out. I must say they looked very miserable and disgruntled indeed. Certainly not happy considering the decuision went their way yesterday. And I thought the criticism of the police was a bit heavy. Why do they never think anybody is doing enough. Pity they themselves didn't do a bit more in the way of child care on May 3rd 2007.

Dead since at least May 3, 2007. They have kept up the pretence that she is still alive for almost 3 years now, and despite more and more indications to the contrary, they still have the effrontery to use the public's donations to finance their professional exploitation of the UK media and the judicial systems of both the UK and Portugal, with the sole aim of pushing their ridiculous story down our throats. IMO, these are two very very sick individuals. After almost 3 years of listening to their ever-changing version of events, and with the sound of the dogs' alerts in the apartment, to Mrs. McCann's clothing and to the car, reverberating in my head, I have to say that I've no time for fence sitters at this stage in the game.

Well it's McCann who seems to be totally without a conscience.
Wonder what George Laird meant in his blog by Gerald Mccann being the 'sort of person who, if he walked past you, you'd turn round to check.' This blogger claims to remember McCann from Glasgow university and I find his view very interesting

Just logged on over here in the U.S. and watched the sky vid.

That was the biggest piece of ACTING I have ever seen IMO.

Kate looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards, disgusting cardie that looked out of shape and old, her hair had been styled to look lanky, unwashed, dirty, and rat-tailed.

She has been coached for today IMO. She was probably told to mis pronounce words, stumble, and speak in a tiny, whiny, pathetic, "I can't take any more" voice, and she seemed to really lay the Liverpool accent on thick.

I really really really feel that this is the "I'm at my breaking point, you nasty buggers, see what you have done to me" act in preparation for the case being re-opened. They didn't want it, but by golly, they are going to spin faster than a Maytag dryer to make sure that now its happened, they will benefit.

Why oh why coudn't just one reporter ask Gerry if he still thought the dogs were incredibly unreliable, given the news that Eddie dug up a body this week? Or even ask him to substantiate what he meant in the first place? That whole conference was full of missed opportunities and not a single probing question.
